Arup,
Please run pnpdump on it if it is an ISA card. If you get anything similar
to OPL 2/3/3-SAx as an ANSI string, it will run , regardless of kernel
version, after 2.0.x. Just uncomment
out the ioports, interrupts,and dma on the first profile (only the first
series until you come to the next set of IO ,DMA etc settings) . The Yamaha
is an uncomplicated card here, seldom have I come across one with more than
2 profiles , compared to mine, an ess1868 with 4 profiles!
