Ever since Russell informed us that our server (humanist.netshooter.com)
is php enabled ...we (ie. Arup and I) have been cursing him for not
telling us earlier about this ;-)
Anyway, we have decided that the web-site needs some redesign (not the
basic theme built by Arup)...but more material needs to be added, the
HTML tree has to be re-structured, the broken links have to be updated.
Shankar has volunteered to take up this job. There is a requirement of
one or more people to work on the site... any volunteers??
Incentive for people working on the site: You will be given a forwarding
email address with the ilug-cal.org domain (ie. [EMAIL PROTECTED])
[Whether you will be accepted for the ILUG-Cal Web-team is a decision
taken on basis of merit and record of past contribution and involvement
in ILUG-Cal's activities.]
Anyone wanting to contribute to the artwork is welcome as well. However, all
graphics should be light-weight, in non-gif format preferably and *must*
be created using GIMP. Graphics designed using Windows s/w will be sent
to /dev/null.
All the articles that you guys have been planning to write...it is a call
for you to send in those.
