Sponsorship does not come out of a hat; Money is required to fund events and
occasions like Linux Interact. This is never forthcoming in the case of
events in the beginning, though people become ready to jump on the bandwagon
, once they realise the exposure available through it for their concerns.

Come on!You seriously mean to say that you are on the list because it is
free! :-)
I thought inclination for communicating with like minded people had a lot to
do with it.
Even the IEEE has a membership fee of $14 for student members , let alone
full members. It doesn't seem to have any membership crisis yet.

Hey , say X , not Linux :-). have a look at the card database. And no
,direct AGP support is not available in in Xfree86 3.3.4 as it works like a
normal PCI card. Try searching for some commercial X server touting AGP
capability. If you find any, please let me know.
