Hi friends, The unthinkable has happened!! Allow me to explain. During the last few days, while some of you boozed, some over-eat, some enjoyed yourselves, and some pandal-hopped (rest I guess stayed at home and recompiled your kernels) Some members of this have been darned busy at work. One of them is our resident guru -- Arup Kanjilal. This is his story, although yours truly briefly appear in some of these at some points of time. Arup has been behind the highly successful setup of the webcam. But sucess never travels alone, it brings with it fame, if not fortune. It certainly didn't fail Arup. Last night Arup was on TV, on the news program "Khash Khabor" where he was fiddling with h/w, and lecturing away to glory... too bad the time they had allotted for the webcam item was felt to be too short by all and the sundry (read, all those who were involved with it :) Still, it was great...tomorrow there are chances of even more TV & press coverage. So watch out folks... the media is after the webcam now, and Arup as well (thats the reason for the subject line) Congrats to Arup for the TV, but more importantly congrats for a job hurriedly executed, but well-done job.
