I think This posting from The Linux India List explaing quite a lot of things! Most ISP's have a single point mailserver i.e. though typically one has a mail ID like for [EMAIL PROTECTED] . This is redirected through a MX record to a dedicated machine which handles*Mail only*. It seems that relays from giascla have been blocked at many Places. SInce the mail relay is normally common , We are getting a mail relay denied message. The Message is reproduced below FYI. I think that we should take this up seriously ASAP with Vsnl calcutta office. Maybe gherao tham as indra suggested! Can You tell me what u think about this - Arup Beginning of Linux India Post __________________________________________ Hello We at the Coalition Against Unsolicited E-Mail ( CAUCE - http://www.cauce.org ) have recently formed a chapter in India.
