Your fear is completely unfounded.... Linux knows how to peacefully co-exist with many
other OS on the same
HDD/machine.... Windows 98 OEM CD behaves in the manner you have described ;-)
BTW, MBR on the hda *IS* the proper place for LILO... IMHO...

I think I should reinstall Linux... but I'm afraid of one thing - I've
installed LILO on my Windows partition
MBR, I 'm afraid that when I reinstall, Linux boot manager installation will not
recognise that there is a DOS bootable
HDD on hda, instead it will see LILO only... is my fear wrong? should I try
reinstalling, or should I search for
another Linux CD-ROM like the PCQ Nov 99 (RH 6.1)?
