Hi
As per my knowldge Redhat 6.1 Dosen't support this card. I have tried the same 3
months before and came to know that Redhat will come out with solution in their
next versions. Pcquest people have written some patch to it. You may get these
files on pcq files on the same 6.1 CD. you have to select  sis6215(pcq) card.
This should solve your problem.

If the above solution dosen't work, then, for the time being to work with
x-windows use standard VGA card and Stadard VGA compatiable monitor. you will
get 8bit colour.
