Yesterday after a brief powerfailure the following malaise cropped up --
the first FAT32 Partition on my 8Gb Seagate HDD has disappeared !
It cannot be accessed in Win98 or Linux. In Linux I had included in
/etc/fstab to mount it at boot time. But now I get something like....
Mounting local filesystems mount: wrong fstype, bad option, bad
superblock on /dev/hdc1 or too many mounted file systems.
This particularly alarming as I have abt 1.6Gb of Stuff on it which I
downloaded/put there in order to burn onto a CD and includes a lot of
Documents et al.
So apart from a clean format what do you suggest I do to recover the
Data ?
