Monday AM, I haven't had my caffiene fix yet,
therefore don't know how much of coherency I can aim
for without vibrating my kneecaps off. Here goes
anyway :)

Wasn't this fixed in the latest lilo? I havent been in
touch lately, but think I heard something to this
effect.

Can't complain, thats the way I have been doing it for
years now.

Hmm too big. Essentially what these guys are saying
does make sense, which is why we battle hardened
veterans normally give 800MB to good old C:\ and the
next 200MB to / or /boot.
What you could do before starting your partition
deleting crusade is read up
http://www.linux.com/howto/Large-Disk-HOWTO.html - you
might find something in there we haven't seen yet.
BTW, you could try using FIPS or Partition Magic - the
latter is pretty highly spoken of.
In other words, get ready for the shit hitting the
fan.
Best of luck, and May The Source Be With You.
