Hi,
I've installed majordomo 1.94.5 - following th einstructions in INSTALL
*exactly*. Everything apparently works. I set up a UID and GUI for
majordomo and added the aliases for majordomo itself in /etc/aliases and
ran newaliases.
Next I simply cut and pasted the example of a new list from the man page
(the 'sample' list) and as described I sent the config command to
majordomo (from the owner account) - I get 2 replies, one from the
MAILER_DEAMOn and one from majordomo, both shown below.
What could be wrong.?
I ahve a feeling that I'm supposed to somehow remake the sendmail.cf
file..is this so?
Another problem is that when I try to subscribe or get info about a list
(the sample list in this case) all I get back is a reply that just
contains
>>> the_command_i_sent
This is clearly not what is supposed to happen - at least the sucesful
appears (at least in all the lists I've subscribed to!)
Could someone please help out?
