Aww just get some firepower dude. e.g. I got this sun
enterprise 420R thats full of processors and has its
own raid tower (200GB hotswap, cute lil tyke), and
ofcourse has ram abundant (about 2 GB methinks) - and
guess what, java runs pretty well :D
Jokes aside, from the stuff I'm seeing out here, Java
really belongs in the enterprise, where gigahertz
speeds are considered to be common, as opposed to the
desktop, where gigahertz speeds are just about
starting to happen.
Bottomline, if you want to run _fast_ java, stick to
sun (hardware and software).
