Hi,
if anybody has any experience with NIS on Solaris7 and Linux could you
please help me out?
I've made a Linux machine (Redhat 6.2) as a NIS server. Other Linux m/c's
happily act as NIS clients with this server. But after running ypinit -c
on the Sun m/c and then running ypstart I cannot login to the sun via NIS.
I have edited /etc/passwd and /etc/group and /etc/shadow and
/etc/nsswitch.conf
Is there anything else I'm supposed to do?
