Not really, just been way too busy lately :)
For the record, I managed to get Suse 7.1 running on
my laptop. Decent distro I would say, Yast2 is kinda
broken (bull on you Shankar!!), can't seem to update
my modules.conf - which causes much pain and
confusion, but since I mostly edit config files by
hand, not a problem.
My biggest grumble would be that this is entirely
pro-kde, the gnome setup sucks bad. But then again,
the new kde does look/feel pretty nice, just a matter
of getting used to it I suppose.
Oh yeah and this is kernel 2.4 in all its glory - I
just havent had the bandwidth to update it to 2.4.2.
Should admit it though, this install was better than
RH, apart from the fact that I had forgotten that this
loves /opt and therefore was eating up all space on /
.
Overall good experience.
