Friends,
I am trying to do a comparative study of the various IDEs available on
Linux. It would be great if you could help with your opinions and experience
on the following :
o Which IDE do you _primarily_ use ?
o What are the two ( or more ) _most_basic_ features you want from your
IDE ?
o What are the two ( or more ) features which you would _love_to_have_ on
your IDE.
[ Probably these features are available on some other IDE (even VC++)
but not on yours ]
o Anything else you want to share about IDEs on Linux
It may be inappropriate to send the answers to the list, because many people
may not be interested ; so please consider sending your replies to me at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
[ If you want to share your views with the list, by all means go ahead ]
[ I am aware that there are great folks on this list who wouldn't sacrifice
there (g)vim/(x)emacs/ctags/cscope for the flashiest IDE in the world.
Please go ahead and let me know about that ]
Thanks in advance for your time and opinion,
Shourya
