Its a Duron 750MHz, 128MB RAM, 20GB HDD
One thing, the docs that came with RH 7.1 point out that the 2.4 kernel
makes 'aggressive use' of swap space. So I made a 256MB swap partition.
Has anybody heard of anything about this? Last night loaded my system
(gimp, compiles, emacs, netscape, mozilla) but the swap space was hardly
used - a few MB out of the 256MB.
Is such a swap space required?
PS. Sorry about the double posting
