I would suggest against it. There will definitely be
config combinations of inetd + identd that will allow
a connection to a listener port even though it's not
in the services list. 

If you don't want ppl to connect to a service at all,
shut it off, if you want only secure connections,
enable connections only from localhost and make them
use ssh tunnels.
