I am facing a problem to start a particular service at startup. I was trying to explore resource configuaration mechanism for the same. In /etc/init.d/rc5.d I have all the links created named [SK]99service in place. Actual script for the service, which is troubling, is also working properly from bash shell. But link is not working though it is pointing to correct/tested script. If you have got any idea about what could be wrong in my case and also let me know some good books or "HOWTO" article on the same subjects.
