Hi,
You have install all those package from your mandrake
cds in order to clear out the dependies. The way i
have done is using urpmi and friends instead of rpm.
*First copy all the kde3 rpms files to a directory.
*Make sure you copy only one particular version, there
are two diff. version.
*Then do man urpmi.addmedia and add that folder to the
urpmi database using the urpmi.addmedia command. You
can get the syntax easily in the man page.
* Then cd to the folder and do urpmi *.rpm. It will
ask for all the mdk cds, install the dependendies and
of course your kde pacakage. It will be get installed
in /opt/kde3. Make sure you have enough space left in
the /opt.
