Hi !! Gee thanks PKS for the splitting !! As for the minutes of the meeting(s), nothing fancy, was just suggesting that they should be put up on the site was well as circulated amongst the members just "fyi" purposes. The usual scripting semantics can be carried out once a general agenda has been fixed up, and those are very easy.
As for the media exposure, i can do a write-up or help in polishing one, if ,and only if, the information people think is relevant in the write-up is available. Perhaps the meeting on this weekend can help finalise the content of the write-up.. ? And you're right in assuming that the media is hellbent on personality projection, but projected in a proper way, i suppose they will be willing to write about the group. But then i also feel that we need a recognition in the form of a non-profit society or something along those lines. The ListAdmin has long been an able administrator for the LUGCal, could he take time out to contact the Bangalore UG in getting the details of the event management ? The school front does really need support from SDG, i've been out of school too long to understand the socio-political implications and the paralanguage needed. And the idea of 2 different organisations is good as the aims & objectives are different. If need arises count my name in as volunteer for both of them. A rough Memorandum & Articles of Association is in the making - good let us have a look-see, i suppose the time is ripe to contact the sysadmins of various non-IT houses to let them realise that a show is on the road. That is all for now. Hope we do have a conclusive meeting. Regards Sankarshan ps : does the updated site contain a record of the proceedings of the BE Shibpur meet ? And did anyone contact JPM and others who were there on that day for inputs ? Russell - what are your inputs on the draft blueprint coming up, where do we go from here ? --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
