Hi Joy,
VSNL dosn't need any script authentication, so leave this blank. Only provide 
your user name, password, server name, DNS settings- i.e 202.54.9.1( if your 
server is vsnl.net then call vsnl help line & find out if you do not know its 
DNS) or you should put it on automatic,IP address- automatic, POP &SMTP ID 
that is all you need. POP & SMTP ID is usually is same as the server address. 
This is the way I have configured my KPPP. If you still have prob let me
