Pretty interesting to note that linux is headed in the right place, seems 2.6 will be better on the desktop with the pre-empt patch being brought in and of course the large system support is a lot better -- i imagine that translates to more servers changing over in the future unless of course longhorn does produce some serious challenge :) I did read that MS wanted to clean up on their bug act, how far it is true is anyone's guess..
