Well,
My selection tests have ended (sort of), and hence I am sort of back :-)
However, I won't be posting much on the list now since I am buried under
loads of work related this passion of mine ;-)
..updating the PCTel miniHOWTO, making a small task manager for myself,
completing the thing that I promised to FSF, and what not.
Also, for the next two weeks, I will be nervous to the nth degree (I had
applied to Princeton Univ., and the results will be soon out :-P
I will probably be rejected/deferred, but still :-S
Now regarding the ilug-cal things
1. Amit told me to make changes on the meeting announcement - will be
done
2. Regarding CD burners' list, DON'T post on the mailing list
Also, I need more details on the volunteers (address, phone, how to get
the cds, cds available, etc) - just plain "me too" won't do
3. Also, I was thinking of having a "LUG special CD" of some sort.
This can have a set of software which do not feature in the normal
distros, like
a. Graphical Links
b. MPlayer
c. Xine
d. the fancy xmms plugins
e. and so on... (suggestions wanted)
