  It is too much of a jump all at once for a large number of people.  I
have noted this in my advocacy that you simply can't change too much on a
persons computer all at once (unless they are purchasing a brand-new 
computer).

  Having FLOSS software that runs on Microsoft Windows is extremely useful
to allow people to get more familiar with the new software sector in
smaller steps.
