Hello, I was thinking about the CD Burning thing, and here are my conclusions
1. Dead RAT and MDK CDs will take up too much time - let's just give Knoppix in the COMPASS - those who want RH/MDK/Debian will be asked to contact the LUG later. 2. We will have a set of blank CDs with us, and we will not be burning the CDs brought by the visitors. With each CD, we will give a propoganda "chotha", which will have on one side general L UG info, and on the other side, instructions for running KNOPPIX. (We will take Rs 12 for each CD) I have composed a small LUG info page - made the necessary layout and stuff (I should have done it in scribus - but sadly, dead rat does not have it, so I had to do it in OOo Writer). The entire thing is A4 B/W, and so we need one good print out, and we can then Xerox it somewhere. I will post the sxw file at www.ilug-cal.org/compass_files/chotha.sxw (the pdf is 521 kb - so I guess that the sxw will be a better option:-).
