All u need do, is uninstall Mesa and/or any conflicting GL
implementations, and install the NVIDIA rpms/tarballs/whatever. Once ur
done, edit ur /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file,and look for a line that goes 
Driver "nv"

Change it to
Driver "nvidia"
That should get u up and running. Once u play a game or two, dont forget
to send a mail to Nvidia and tell them that binary only drivers suck;).
The DRI team is doin' a great job, and if only NVIDIA could be as
cooperative towards the DRI project as ATI, the gaming world on Linux,
would be a much better place.
