Hi
Fromthe settings, it appears that you have a an ISA card. Do you? If so, I
am afraid, it would be a pain in the neck to configure it. I have no I dea
about them. You see, if you read the header of this mail, you would find
that it has been sent from windows. I havent yet been able to configure my
internal PCI winmodem. And they say thaqt its easier than ISA devices.
Anyway, you dont need the sound to go ahead with most of the C++
programming? Do you? What kind of permission denials are you getting there?
By the way, I am pleased not to ask you to get rid of Red Hat and switch
over to Mandrake, but to switch over to Debian. Debian dosent have any
graphical config utils at all, but its REALLY THE GREATEST.
greetings,
Sayan Chakraborti
