This is exactly what I meant when I used the word "impromptu". The
day, 2nd
Saturday/Sunday should remain 2nd Saturday/Sunday, come rain, hail or
shine. This should be reflected on the website, so that the date of
the
meeting goes without saying. The date of the meeting and venue(if
possible) should be reflected in the mailing list signature so that
there is no way a member misses the date of the meet.
yes i accept this fact,at the same time i prefer/suggest
one thing...from the next meetings cant we have 2-3 areas on which
we will focus in the meeting so that everyone gets in some kind of
mindset before they attend the meeting?I think this will help a lot.
As last time we were unable to get a point out of the meeting really.

> also .. the need for the tech part has been voiced in the last
> few meetings .. . people wanting to
> demo, lecture, tell, show need to inform the co-ordinators AND
>>What say, why dont we just get a list of volunteers and the
subjects >they feel comfortable delivering a talk on, next meeting?

this too needs active participation...like one who wants
to have a talk on some tech should be given some time to prepare
himself.....we can really start with basic topics!

we can devote some time in the meeting to probs which users
face while using Linux because on few occasions we see a problem
arises then goes down due to time factor involved.
