Hello guys,
I know very little C programming (I learn it in school as it is in class XII Computer Science syllabus.) Very recently someone in the mailing list was talking about C programs in Linux and I felt that I would like to ask you something on that. Can we make a program that can, own its own change its own terminal and start working in another? If this is possible then a virus can check whether in any terminal an user is logged in as root and can go to that terminal and create a mess of the system. I am not asking this question to make a virus though!! Actually, very often I log in as root in a terminal and log in as user in the X term and connect to the net. Is that safe?? regards arko -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the body "unsubscribe ilug-cal" and an empty subject line. FAQ: http://www.ilug-cal.org/node.php?id=3
