What happened, you received the writeup? Do I send it to you again?
What are your orders? And tell me something, you told me to make some
slides. I'm thinking of making two, one for introducing the talk
organised by LUG, and conducted by ourselves, and the second one
about the concept of LUG. Basically we're gonna take a member from
the audience, and baby walk him/her through the process, so we
project everything from the install machine itself. Give me some
ideas if we need to add more slides. And I think, Sutanubabu would be
the best person to instruct the guinea pig, with me only talking
during technical parts, partitioning and Xconfig. That's coz the last
time I did public speaking was when I was in class 10, in the debate.
I'm not a very good public speaker, and might mess up. I know my
shortcomings in this area, and anyways it was Sutanubabu who was
supposed to do it, with me only being a sidekick. Now I'm suddenly
being confronted with the spectre of me doing the main talk itself.
:)He's a senior person, and people are less likely to try to pull
stunts when he is the main speaker. Aami, aamake to bachha peye
chaatbe. However, do go through the intro speech, and I assure you,
the rest of the demo will be flawless, coz as soon as we get to the
actual installation, no one will try to be a hero. And give an idea,
what exactly do you have in mind for the introductory slides. Actual
implementation won't take me long, coz I don't expect anything more
than four slides, and three hours (12 to 3 a.m.) is sufficient.
