Adding people to mailing lists manually is generally considered rude, and can get people caught up in (fairly legitimate) accusations of SPAMMING. I've closed @flora.org mailing lists for this type of thing in the past as the consequences are always far beyond any theoretical benefit. > But at the same time if we do nothing in one or two > days then we wont be striking the iron hot. Ensure that you use Bcc: so that you aren't broadcasting out everyones email to each other!! > Then lets invite them to the next meeting or so. The idea is not to > loose the tempo basically. What are you thinking Indranil? Catching things while they are thinking of it is important. The future away from the event, the more likely they are going to be confused as to why you are contacting them. > -Saugata BTW: Congrats on what sounds like a very successful show! --- Russell McOrmond, Internet Consultant: <http://www.flora.ca/> Any 'hardware assist' for communications, whether it be eye-glasses, VCR's, or personal computers, must be under the control of the citizen and not a third party. -- http://www.flora.ca/russell/ -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the body "unsubscribe ilug-cal" and an empty subject line.
