Hi,

Couple of weeks back I had posted abt the MSFT effort of making the new version
of Opera web-browser severely malfunction on their MSN homepage. Following the
uproar, MSFT now allows access to Opera 7 users, but still continues to target
and send users of earlier versions a broken page.

Now Opera has hit back in style by releasing their "Bork" edition (Opera 7.01
for Windows in Bork). This version works properly on every site but MSN. The
"special" version browser turns all the words into the language of the Swedish
chef from The Muppet Show.

The Bork edition, is available for download [1] from the Opera site. Mary
Lambert of Opera said, "this is a joke. However, we are trying to make an
important point. The MSN site is sending Opera users what appear to be
intentionally distorted pages. The Bork edition illustrates how browsers could
also distort content." [2]
