[ilug-cal] compiled my kernel

Please do not laugh: it maybe too much to announce, that too publicly, for a man of forty-three, that he has compiled the kernel.
But, probably, so many of you here know so much about these computer things, you cannot very well relate to what pleasure it can give to a man, however old he maybe, for whom so many of these things are so mysterious, and who was initiated into Linux just last September.
And you are all friends, that too linux friends, so i wanted to share the pleasure.
I compiled and ran my 2.4.19 kernel on Mandrake 9 system for the first time. It has many flaws but i am going to correct them.
