Good question. Well what happened today, was supposed to be **THE MEETING**. We all know how many students from HIT turned up. I had already said that the venue is too big for our liking and the headcount too, turned out to be be too much for us to have a tech session within a limited duration, leaving enough time for the actual LUG discussions. The venue was good in as much as it provided us with almost everything we needed. It was bad however, since it provided us with a lot of uninformed crowd which isnt something we look to handle in meets. I wouldnt say our meet this time was not productive. But yes...we couldnt serve the very purpose of meeting on a monthly basis. We didnt really have much of an option though, considering the fact that we have been constrained for both time and resources. So yes...we need to talk. And for that we need a smaller location, where we can interact better amongst ourselves. I would always prefer a small location that is heavily crowded than a big location, where we cant interact with each other, and need mikes to communicate. So, for the meet in April, we scrap out the LCD projector and hi-fi mikes stuff. Let us have limited tech content. Just one focus talk and a small demo or something, preceding/interspersed with our main meeting agenda. As was probably decided, 2nd Saturday shall remain the day for the meet come rain, hail or shine.
