Hi all,

As a followup to RVK's initiatives at IISWBM, the institute wants us to organise
a 1-day/8-hr or 2-day/4-hour-per-day format lecture/demonstrations. As usual,
the LecDem will cater to a mixed crowd, with some sections of our lectures/demos
focussed solely for the corporate/govt. The rest would be focussed towards
mostly IISWBM students and academics.

RVK is currently out of town, and is supposed to be back by around 17 - 18th of
this month.

So are we going ahead on this? The hidden benefit that may become available (no
assurances though) is that by doing a good job with the Lecdem seminar there, we
would probably be able to convince the IISWBM director to allow the institute to
act as event host to any major events to be conducted by the LUG.

If we are doing it, we need to throw ourselves to the task and pull off a
professional quality LecDem.

cheers,
--indra.
