Friends, As a LUG we are standing at a cross-road. The recent incidents has exposed serious weaknesses in our organisational matrix. We badly need to take stock of the direction we are headed, we need to ensure we do not get caught in a storm like this in future and we need to focus.
In view of the activities that the LUG is planning on taking part in the forth-coming months and to take into account the undiscussed agenda of the March 2003 meeting I will like the meeting convenor to try to arrange a meeting ASAP, preferably within the next 10 days. So the next meeting's date has to be announced with the next 3 - 4 days at the latest so that ppl can be informed in time to attend it. This meeting should have no technical content, rather a place we all can sit and discuss general business of the LUG. This is my suggestion, I leave the final agenda to the meeting convenor. As for the members, specially the newer ones, although we will no formal technical discussion, I will really be happy to see you all turn up. You all can get involved in the process of taking this LUG ahead. So when are we meeting?
