Microsoft will implement a new licensing structure for many of its
server products on April 1, 2003, with the changes designed to help
companies
reduce the costs associated with running multiprocessor servers. The
license changes will not affect the core Windows Server operating systems,
but they do include Microsoft's Application Center 2000, BizTalk Server
2002, Commerce Server 2002, Content Management Server 2002, Host Integration
Server 2000, Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2000, and SQL
Server 2000.
