yes, i guessed as much - your attachment to linux / free software is
more a matter of convenience than of convition. nothing wrong with that,
of course - it's just another point of view. clearly, we have two
different philosophies, one oriented towards business and utility, the
other based on moral principles. it's no use trying to convince each
other - it can't be done.

if everyone went by that logic, many turning points of human history
wouldn't have happened at all. great things are often achieved through
sheer impetuosity.

there must be something wrong with my expositional skills - i thought i
made that difference clear beyond question in my last mail. in any case,
it seems rather pointless to repeat the same, because there is an
obvious communication gap between us.
