well.. the vesafb documentation doesn't say that the refresh rate can't be
changed from the default of 60 Hz, what it says I believe is that to do that
normally wud require the vidcard to be initialised at a higher refresh rate
before vesafb takes over the show as otherwise the vidcard is limited by the
vesafb unless u r using specific native fb.
