Hi,

<donning_asbestos_underwear>

Apparently, the folks at Debian are planning on pulling the plug on all
Documentation bundled with their distribution on Linux that comes under GNU
Free Documentation Licence promoted by FSF

Debian's objections stem mainly from the GFDL's allowance for the copyright
holder to specify invariant sections (text which cannot be altered) and cover
texts (text which must appear literally on the cover of printed
publications). They feel this makes the license non-free because this
prevents others from modifying all of the text. Even if the original author
has no invariant sections, those who add to the document later on, who must
keep it under the same license, may choose to add invariant sections.
