As long as secure passwords for db and ftp are not revealed, there should not be any reason to NOT proudly exhibit the site usage of a group that believes in Open Source evangelism, et al. I don't see how that affects privacy issues. Also, with a little bit of code tweaking, private information like email ids, usernames, etc. could be scrambles after consensus among the users.
