hi,

I tried both for gnome and kde. same message is coming! If I change /etc/inittab from "5" to "3" and try startx& then GUI is OK.
But for 5 it is not.

.xsession-errors file show following error>

xterm Xt-error: can't open display: some IP address:0:0

few days back one of my friends tried remote display using xterm, xhosts etc. but failed. May be this is the reason. But how to revoke it to its original?
