Since the HDD containing NTFS partitions were not connected to the system no entries 
have been added in the /etc/fstab file to automatically mount it during the Linux boot 
process. You have to add an entry (an extra line) into /etc/fstab to get that. The 
writing of the line is quite obvious once you open up /etc/fstab to see the other 
entries. Additionally do a man fstab to get a detail instruction.
