Depends on what kind of filesystem the server is using for the sharable network drive. The option of the mount command and client setup(optinal) might vary depending on that one. If it's smbfs (samba), then there are some gui available which makes it easier to access the share drive. Try searching for linneighbourhood,komba in google. If it's nfs(network export) then use command line mount for access.
