Yah, The reason being the installer of SuSE (YAST2) is under a different license than GPL. It is open source but put under Yast license, which prohibits distribution of it against any kind of commercial terms, i.e. you can give it for free but can not charge for giving it. Just read that license if u have a installed SuSE. That is being the reason why LINUX cheap CD sites generally do not provide SuSE.
SuSE also does not provide iso images of their distribution for intel architecture when they release a new version. They only make it available after some months.
