Hi All, I apologise for Cross posting. There was a whole day Seminar "Linux as an Alternate OS" organised by the Computer Society of India, Jamshedpur Chapter on November 27, 2003 at the Russi Modi Centre for Excellence.
Though I had reservations on the Title of the Seminar ( I hate this *Alternate OS* thing) I was one of the Speakers. I gave a presentation on "Linux in the Enterprise". You can download the slides at http://neolinuxsolutions.com/resources/enterprise.sxi. Flames/criticism welcome but please send me a mail directly. This was prepared in less than 5 hrs. If anybody wants to put in a link do that and do notify me about that. There was also a presentation on a similar ground by Mr. Varun Jha, CIO, Tata Steel. I am trying to get the slides and would be putting up somewhere for download. Now that Linux is getting to the smaller industrial cities does mean that Linux is slowly coming of age and is getting noticed by the industries. I would be soon putting up a synopsis of the entire seminar and would be putting up that too in about a week. Have to leave for Linux Bang ;) Regards, Animesh [EMAIL PROTECTED] CTO, NeoLinux Solutions http://neolinuxsolutions.com -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the body "unsubscribe ilug-cal" and an empty subject line.
