The mere fact of Linux booting up and speaking Bangla made me so sentimental :) Congragulations to the Ankur Bangla team for a great product.
I'm gradually trying out the CD, but meanwhile there are a couple of points:
1. When I start a gnome-terminal I get the terminal window but the screen is completely blank, not even a bash prompt. The cursor just sits at home and does not move in response to keystrokes. The memu items seem to be working, though.
2. Am I right in believing that if I wish to play music that's on a CD, I need a second CD drive? Or is there some way of freeing the drive containing the Ankur Bangla Live CD?
