I am having a very strange but interesting problem. My external modem (Dlink) cant dial when I connect it with my spikebuster. Its not that it cant get current because the lights are glowing. I have run "minicom" to see specifically which command fails. It cant do "ATH1" which is to go offhook. But other commands (ex: ATI/ATM1L1/etc) works fine. However the same modem works perfectly when I connect its adapter to any other source of power. - Any idea of whats goin on ?
