To all ilug members. I have arranged for a meeting hall along with LCD projector on 10th August. The response to my earlier mail requesting suggestions for meeting is at the best lukewarm (only Sumeet has commented). So This time I am asking to the members who will be available or be able to attend the meeting on that day. It has to be in the morning session (from 10:00 p.m. or so). Kindly reply. We also require speakers.
I am specifically asking Dipankarda to give a talk on the usability issues that an average Linux user faces for everyday use and possible solutions. Indra, will you be able to come along with your laptop? then it will be easier to present the things. I am also asking you to give a talk on any topic you think fit. Though you are a veteran in giving talks but this meeting (If happens) will be after a very long time. So veterans are very much in need to drive things intially. If Indra happens to miss it (which I hope will not be the case) then we also requires computer to present. Any help in this regard from members will be highly appreciated.
Also apecial request to Sayamindu and Ankur Bangla team for a live demo of the Bengali Linux. Also put the notice on the ilug-cal website if everything goes well. I need to take the permission for the meeting hall and LCD projector by today. So early comments from members will be appriciated. Anyone want to talk about anything else on Linux is welcome. Kindly submit your subject and difficulty level ( Newbie, intermediate, geek).
Anirban will co ordinate the things.
So folks time to get up from the slumber.
Cheers Arijit
