Hi!

I am not really a techie, though I have been working with them for several
years now. And I am not sure if this is the right forum to post this
request, but I am hoping it is.

I need help with some opensource technologies..

I want to know if someone can help me embed the GNU developed vlc media
player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html) into
mozilla. We want the Windows version of both the vlc and mozilla as part
of the first phase and then to Linux versions of both.

My company is even willing to pay someone for this effort. If someone is
interested in taking this up as a commercial assignment, do let me have
your project implementation profile and the costs we will have to bear for
getting this work done.

We need to use this technology because it is critical that we use open
source technologies for our project aimed primarily for providing
Interactive Distance Learning to children of underprivileged families, and
to areas where good teachers are just not available. We are currently
using Internet Explorer and Windows Media player, but I want to migrate to
Mozilla and to VLC because (a) both are open source, and (b) VLC allows me
to accept MPEG-4 streams as well.

More details about our project can be found at the website given
below. And details about our platform can be found at
http://www.yes2etl.com/trainneed.htm.

Do let me know if someone can help me out on this issue.

With the best of wishes
