Hi, With the flurry of new releases in the FLOSS world happening lately, I think it's imperative that there is a LUG meeting held in September, so that members can come to know from the experts about the new features of the software. As far as I know the following have already been released or are going to be released soon: 1> PostgreSQL 2> Xorg server 3> GNOME 2.8 4> Debian These are major software releases and I think we should have a meeting to discuss the new developments. Arijitda/any one else willing to step forward and organise.
We couldn't have the August meeting unfortunately, for I believe RedHat was going to make a presentation like Novell did in July. Hopefully we'll have some contribution from RH at this meeting. Looking forward to some enlightening sessions. -- Soumyadip Modak [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://soumyadip.spymac.net/blog -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the body "unsubscribe ilug-cal" and an empty subject line.
